Carrick Cineplex – COVID Safety Measures

From January 21st 2022, Carrick Cineplex will continue operating with socially distanced seating of 1 empty seat in each row to the right and left of groups in all cinema screens. Mask wearing remains compulsory for everyone aged 9+ in the cinema apart from when eating/drinking.

  • Masks/face coverings are mandatory at all times in the venue apart from when eating/drinking. Children under the age of 9 are not required to wear masks.
  • Sanitising stations are widely available throughout the venue, and we ask all patrons to use hand sanitiser upon entry and throughout your visit.
  • Increased and enhanced cleaning regime in all areas and sanitising of high touch points is being carried out by professional cleaning staff.
  • Contactless digital ticketing and ticket scanning will be in operation where possible.
  • Advanced ventilation systems are in place and air is not re-circulated. Fresh air from outside is pushed into the auditorium and stale air is pushed out.
  • Staff will be wearing masks and all personnel will adhere to the venue’s extensive COVID-19 policies to ensure best safety practices.
  • Contactless payment methods are preferred – contactless card spending limit has increased to €50 per transaction.
